"Alright class, let's get started!" Ms. Longstern said happily, turning to the night's sky. "Look, there's a constellation, which one?" she said, a grin spreading on her face as students glanced at books and the general direction she was pointing at. Someone said it after a few seconds of whispering and she clapped as if they'd just won the Nobel Prize. "Correct! Perfect!" she said, and spun in her very long blue dress, black flats made a small crunching as the cement pieces beneath her feet crackled and were blown away. Some students laughed, others groaned, and some just watched. There were mixed opinions about this spirited fairly young teacher. Some said she was wonderful, never made you feel dumb and pretty on top of it. Some said she was on drugs to smile as much as she did and maybe she should slow down on the carbs. As for Abigail? She thought everything was great. Perfect even. She was teaching the only subject she liked, and she was here, back at Hogwarts, where she was actually liked and accepted as a teenager when even her family left her dry. Maybe she was single and childless but so what? That was the life she'd chosen for herself.
